AISC Fabrication Safety Award 2022

“We are very pleased to report that Rochester Rigging & Erectors, Inc. has received the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), Safety Award for 2022. We are so proud of all of our employee’s efforts and consistent commitment to safety”. Kelly Gilligan – President

An effective safety program is a major commitment–and nothing is as important.

AISC’s Safety Awards honor fabricators and erectors whose efforts to keep their employees safe and demonstrate their commitment. Only companies that truly put safety first will receive an AISC Safety Award.

All active fabricator members and erector associate members are eligible, and Awards are based on data reported to OSHA on form 300A.

The program recognizes performance measured in terms of Days Away, Restricted or Transferred Rate (DART). The DART is a measure of the number of recordable lost work cases per 200,000 man hours worked.

AISC Safety Awards are given for perfect records, (DART=0), excellent records (0<DART≤1), and commendable records (1<DART≤2). Awards are issued separately for fabricator organizations and erector organizations.
